Cushing Terrell’s home page on The Hive uses the grid layout to display the maximum number of posts. The rotating slideshow of buttons entices the user to learn more about different curated topics and resources on the intranet, and the Help! section provides support in the areas where employees need it most.
What’s Included
Stream Block
The stream block, in grid layout, displays all community posts. Share Something is enabled on the home page.
Image Block
This looping slideshow of linked “buttons” uses an image block in slideshow layout. It is set to play automatically, with 3 second intervals, in a loop. Links to both external sites and internal resources were added using the Manage Images option in the block settings.
Trending Hashtag Block
The trending hashtag block shows the top ten hashtags in pill layout with the accent color disabled.
Navigation Block
This basic navigation block in list layout with images enabled provides links to various support pages and resources.
