 As Founder and CEO of Knowledge Architecture, Christopher is responsible for marketing and sales, product management, and corporate operations. Christopher has been a technology leader in the AEC industry since 2002, including serving as the Chief Information Officer for Steinberg Architects and the Information Technology Director for SMWM (now Perkins+Will). In addition to his corporate experience, he is currently serving on the boards of Public Architecture and the San Francisco AIA, is a former board member of the AEC IT Leaders Roundtable and the founder of San Francisco Digital Design (SFDD). He has spoken and written for several industry groups including AEBL, ZweigWhite, the AEC IT Leaders Roundtable, and LINE Magazine. Prior to entering the AEC industry, Christopher was a consultant with Experio Solutions (now Hitachi Consulting), a strategic technology consulting practice serving Global Fortune 1000 companies.
Christopher has degrees in History and Political Science from Wake Forest University. He's an avid reader, basketball player, gardener, and cook.

 Brian leads Knowledge Architecture's development team and is responsible for software architecture and our technical roadmap. Prior to joining Knowledge Architecture, Brian was the Business Information Systems Manager for Steinberg Architects, where he was responsible for planning, design, and implementation of systems such as Microsoft Office SharePoint Server, Newforma Project Center, and Deltek Vision. Long before starting his technology career, Brian was an Associate at SMWM, responsible for overseeing Project Management, Construction Administration, Risk Management and Contracts. His passion for technology is always tempered by his experience as a leader on the practice side of the business.
Brian has a degree in English Literature from Ohio University. He and his wife own The Candy Store in San Francisco.

 As the Director of Engineering for Knowledge Architecture, Chad is responsible for the technical architecture and delivery of Knowledge Architecture's software and services. Prior to joining Knowledge Architecture, Chad was responsible for technical infrastructure and support services at LPA Inc., a California-based integrated design firm. Chad's passion for process engineering and his technical depth provide the foundation for our intranet and integration services.
Chad has a degree in Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara.

 Susan is responsible for serving Knowledge Architecture clients through account and project management. Prior to joining Knowledge Architecture, Susan created and filled the Director of Human Resources role at MNLB. Susan's diverse background in organizational design, project management, and low voltage engineering at MNLB and Gilbane Building Company allow her to draw upon a broad range of experiences to meet the needs of our customers. In addition to her professional work, Susan is the President of the East Bay Smith College Alumnae club and is a Collegiate Leadership Coach for the Society of Women Engineers.
Susan has spoken and written on sustainable engineering in healthcare and A/E management for organizations including SMPS, ASHE, and EUEC.

Contact Paul

 Paul is responsible for the front-end development of Synthesis, Knowledge Architecture's social intranet for architects and engineers. In addition, Paul develops and maintains our Vision-OpenAsset and Vision-Active Directory Connectors. Prior to joining Knowledge Architecture, Paul was responsible for the day to day technical issues of architects and designers at Steinberg Architects. He was the go-to person for software rollouts, Linux maintenance, and custom scripts. Paul brings to the table a 'make it happen' approach to software development where any idea can be brought to reality with enough ingenuity.
Paul has a degree in Computer Science from CSU Monterey Bay. He is a freestyle skier who has recently taken up beer making.

 Sean is responsible for the development of Engage, Knowledge Architecture's website platform for architects and engineers, coming in 2012. Prior to joining Knowledge Architecture, Sean worked as a freelance web developer and designed participatory games for museums. He previously worked in desktop support and systems administration roles at SMWM (now Perkins+Will), drawing on self-taught computer mastery gained while an English Language and Literature undergraduate at The University of Chicago. An inveterate tinkerer, Sean approaches software engineering as a creative and strategic practice.
Sean spends his free time running games like SFZero and Journey to the End of the Night, and occasionally playing music.
